1. Well-seasoned dishes
One thing I noticed about Australian dishes is they are not fond of preservatives. Â They want the natural flavours to come out, as much as possible. At Hog’s Breath Cafe, the dishes are naturally mouthwatering. Â They were flavourful and appetizing!
I love their version of Chicken Parmigiana. Everything on this plate was incredibly delicious.
This dish, Texmex is perfect for people who have a big appetite 🙂 It has sirloin steak served with hog tail fries, house salad, Cajun rice and your choice of a chicken or beef chimichanga.
Two words: Juicy and irresistible! This is their 200g natural Prime Rib Steak. You can also get to choose your sidings for this delightful dish!
A gratifying full rack of BBQ Pork Ribs basted in smoked hickory BBQ sauce! Yummy!
Crusted Salmon with Mango Salsa- served with mashed potatoes and house salad.
The appetizer platter is composed of fried squid rings or calamares, chicken fingers, their best-seller (spicy) buffalo wings, and fried potatoes with bacon bits.
See you tomorrow, beers! Â Of course, Beers are best partnered with pizza!
There’s always room for desserts.  It has to be a balanced meal, after all. 🙂
All-time favourite Apple Crumble 🙂
Although, Don Algie himself is from Queensland, this original recipe of Mississippi Mud Cake was made by him.
Last but not least, is their version of fried ice cream!
“The fried ice cream was my childhood favourite snack back in Papua New Guinea,” says the owner. Thank you for sharing your favourite comfort food with us!
You get to choose a dip: strawberry, caramel, or chocolate. Â Everybody say, CHOCOLATE!!
Rarely do you find a place where “what you see is what you get.” Truly, Hog’s Breath Cafe is one of the best Australian-inspired restaurants I’ve ever visited.  My personal favourites are the Burgers, the mud pie, of course, and their pizza! 🙂 By the way, they also accept small gatherings for special occasions.
Whether you’re an Australian or not, Hog’s Breath Cafe is a perfect place for families and friends who want to have a remarkable dining experience!
