Here’s what Cheska Garcia tells daughter about love

Apparently, Cheska Garcia is already having a mother and daughter talk with her firstborn Kendra about having admirers.

Cheska seems cool about it as she writes in her latest Instagram post, “She is pleasantly surprised by the admiration that she has been receiving.”

A child growing to teenhood is the part when parents get the most protective of their kids.

Cheska is not an exemption, and her way of dealing with this new situation in their family is to listen to Kendra talk about it.

The mother of three posts, “I did not want to miss on the opportunity to talk to her about these things because she is growing up already.”

Toward the end of her post, Cheska directs her message to parents.

She advises them to be more open about discussing matters of the heart with their children.

She relates, “They need to hear the truth from us parents and it’s our job to explain these things to them.

“It’s so hard to keep saying, no, it’s bad, it’s not yet time, you don’t know what love is, and so on.

“But is it really so? Is love bad? Do they really not know what love is?

“Instead of disregarding their feelings-let’s guide them and be intentional parents that we’re meant to be.”

How apt to share this story since it’s valentines day. Kendra is already starting to have admirers. And she is pleasantly surprised by the admiration that she has been receiving. : I did not want to miss on the opportunity to talk her about these things because she is growing up already. I spoke to her about the difference of flattery, crushes, admiration and love. We sometimes talk about it anyways. I told her it’s normal to feel flattered when we know people like us and admire us. But, we shouldn’t think much of it and seek more out of it. Not just yet! Love is a beautiful feeling! Our love is precious and shouldn’t be given away so easily. . While you wait for God’s best-Guard your heart! And while you’re at it, choose your friends, be mindful of your ways, remember what your parents have taught you, and find your indentity in Christ. . Why is it impt to talk about these things to our children? Because, they need to hear the truth from us parents and it’s our job to explain these things to them. It’s so hard to keep saying, no, it’s bad, it’s not yet time, you don’t know what love is, and so on. But is it really so? Is love bad? Do they really not know what love is? Instead of disregarding their feelings-let’s guide them and be intentional parents that we’re meant to be. ?❤️ : Ps: Flowers given by her consistent admirer and first love, her papa! ❤️
