Have an idea? Join this program and you might just earn P1 million to implement your idea

Do you have an innovative idea in mind?

Do you want to implement it but you’re a little short on the financial end?

Then, this might be a chance for you to transform that idea into reality.

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is launching a program that can help you earn up to P1 million to finance your idea.

Here’s what DOST said:

We believe that great ideas sprout from fresh minds.

But not every great scientific idea, invention, or innovation reaches the right authority for it to be able to make a change.

With this, our Council has crafted a program to empower brilliant high school, undergraduate, and master’s degree students that have what it takes to cause a ripple in our country’s scientific fields!

Now in its second year, our Young Innovators Program (YIP) is for young, original thinkers under the age of 30 who envision themselves pursuing a career in S&T.

Deadline for submission of application is on June 20, 2018.
