Why do people gather to play online games?
As one of the reason why people play online games is Social Interaction, there is a need for gathering people together over a common interest. Though playing online at the comfort of your home may seem convenient and time efficient, the hunger for human interaction and communication raises at the same time.
GuildHouse Cafe is the only cafe in the metro that has been hosting regular online game gatherings that allows the players to meet face to face and build a healthy competition and friendship.
They have been hosting regular Hearthstone Fireside Gathering as they are now on their 36th FSG and have now commenced their gatherings for Vainglory.

How did the players feel?
“As a competitive player, there’s a need to see who you are playing with. It allows you to read body language and strategize your game better” – Ian [tattoor]
“I’ve been waiting for a gathering since the time I started playing [Hearthstone], when Guildhouse cafe announced their first FSG, I was excited! I wanted to meet other players and share enthusiasm with them” – Alex [thechosenone]
“There’s still a big difference between playing on your own [online] and playing with other gamers face to face. The ambiance of having people together with the same interest encourages us to play more” – Job [jyob]
“Our team usually plays in different locations; it’s difficult to strategize without communicating with your team mates. When Guildhouse Cafe hosted their Vainglory gathering, it gave us the opportunity to play together as a team and meet other players! It [Vainglory gathering] gave us the chance for exposure too, as our friends got the chance to watch us in Twitch! It was a great experience!” – Russ, Angelo, Kieron [Noisy Peenoise]
What made Guildhouse Cafe decide to start the gathering of players?
“There are only a handful of games that emphasize on essence of getting people together with the same interest. This goes hand in hand with our cafe’s mission of bringing people together with a mutual interest. We wanted to share the experience with others, building new friendships and sharing memories as Guildmates”- Aja [ajaboy] Join the guild now!

GuildHouse Cafe was founded in October 2016, by entrepreneurs Nica Abucayan, Ian Corrales and Aja Mojica. The “GuildHouse Trio” originally came up with an idea to simply create a product and then sell it. Since all three of them came from the BPO industry, it was befitting to use the methodologies learned from the industry. They ended up agreeing to sell the experience
