 7.  Experience Chamorro Culture
Local indigenous culture is best experienced at one of the cultural Chamorro heritages: Chamorro Village or Gef Pa’go Cultural Park and Village.
Chamorro Village offers an outdoor mall where you can find gifts, souvenirs and local foods. In the afternoon, cultural events and shows take place here.
Gef Pa’go Cultural Park and Village is another site that offers visitors local cultural events. Also, local delicacies, such as coconut candy, coconut oil and natural sea salt are produced the traditional ancient Chamorro way at the park.Â

A fairly new museum, the Pacific War Museum was built in 2001 and is located in Hagatna. It focuses on World War II exhibits and introduces you to the military past of the island. Surfing may not be your cup of tea and you may not know how to swim. BUT, the waters of Guam are well worth trying the untried and testing the unknown! Put on a life vest and explore the underwater world by snorkeling at one of the many beautiful reef-rich areas at the various beaches. And if you are just a bit braver, go for a dive: Guam is known to be a top destination for scuba diving!
