We’re fangirling so hard right now. Fil-Am model Kelsey Merritt first made waves internationally when she became the first Filipino to be invited to walk in the world-famous annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2018. And now, she’s the new face of global luxury brand, Bvlgari Parfums.

Kelsey made the announcement on her Instagram, but not without suspense—before making an official announcement, she dropped hints on her Instagram stories first. Kelsey first posted a photo of a clothes rack, filled with pastel-colored dressed. “Can you guess?” She asked on another Instagram Story post of a mirror selfie, while clad in a beautiful pink, feathered dress.
“Another hint,” she wrote, was a photo of some cakes, before posting a more obvious one. “Another hint,” the model wrote on top of a photo of Serpenti pieces of jewelry, which fashionistas quickly recognized to be Bvlgari’s.
Finally, she posted some photos on her feed. She captioned it: “Shot something really exciting for @bulgariparfums today! Can’t wait to share more all about it!!” The photos featured her in the same feathered dress she posted earlier, and another photo of a bottle of a Bvlgari perfume, with European pastries displayed in the background.

Kelsey Merritt was born and raised in the Philippines, and has been modeling in the country prior to moving to the US. She moved to New York after graduating from Ateneo de Manila University in 2017 and from there was signed by international modeling agencies.
