Faith In Humanity Restored: People Extend Help To Cold Dogs in Turkey

Summer has officially started here in the Philippines. It’s that time of the year again when everybody wants to go hit the beach and cool off from the sun’s heat.

Before we put on our sunnies, let’s take a moment to look back at the start of 2017 when things weren’t as warm, especially in Europe. Earlier this year, there has been a cold spell all over the European countries, causing a disturbance in the citizens’ day to day activities. The weather was so harsh that there have been reports of deaths due to the extreme coldness.

Knowing this might have us worried about all the stray animals and how they were able to combat the cold. No need to fret, friends, because shop owners in a local mall in Turkey have offered these freezing dogs refuge in their shops.

Although animals are not usually allowed inside the shops, these generous owners have opened their doors to provide warm shelter to stray dogs as the cold rages. Not only that, they have even provided them with food, blanket, and some boxes where they can get cozy in.

Talk about restoring our faith in humanity, right?

Now this summer, let’s all try giving some thirsty stray dogs a drink, or better yet, a home.
