It is, again, the start of the rainy season when in Manila and we hope that everyone is able to stay safe and dry. Unfortunately, not everyone has the luxury of being able to keep out of the rain and the bad weather can be very unforgiving. In these trying times, little gestures go a big way.
Photojournalist Linus Escandor captures this touching moment of a young boy helping a cat in the rain. He posts this on his blog:
“A boy protects a cat who has just given birth from the strong waves that pummel the Baywalk area. Tropical storm Egay (International name Linfa) wreaked havoc in San Fernando La Union.”
Isn’t it touching? Especially since the weather was this bad:
