Great news to fans of beloved HBO series Euphoria: the show is coming back with not one but TWO special episodes to be released ahead of the postponed second season!
HBO announced that the first of the two episodes will air on December 7, Monday at 10 AM Manila time exclusively on HBO GO and will, of course, star its two lead actresses, Zendaya and Hunter Schafer.
Titles “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” the episode is said to follow character Rue (Zendaya) as she celebrates Christmas right after the events of season 1.
The second special has yet to have a premiere date.
Zendaya also took to her own social media account to spread the great news of Euphoria‘s return. “We really missed them. Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon. First one December 6th on @hbo,” she wrote on her post, sharing a photo of Rue being reflected on Jules’ (Schafer) eye.

For those who have yet to watch Euphoria, it follows a group of high school students and their struggles with sex, drugs, friendships, love, identity, and trauma. It went on to win three Emmy Awards last month.
