Earth-UST celebrates ‘New Season of Greener Resolution’

A university-wide student organization at the University of Santo Tomas celebrates its annual general assembly “GAIA: New Season of Greener Resolution” to instill the goal of both environmental and wildlife conservation at the Ninoy Aquino Wildlife Park on Nov. 18, in Quezon City.

The Environmental Advocates Reaching Towards Humanity (EARTH-UST) aims to promote its environmental advocacies, introduce its current executive board members, demonstrate the theme, lay its objectives, and propose the upcoming projects to all its members, including the alumni members, at the general assembly.

The organization has also invited two environmental experts to exchange share their vast knowledge on the pressing issues of that plagued the environment; they are Green Education chairperson, Dave Ang, and MA in Environmental Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman, Erina Molina.

Team building activities were also prepared to amplify the spirit of teamwork among all members; the team building activities are fast fashion, ignorance of the law, improper segregation, mass population in tourism, unknown endangered species, and plastic packaging giant corporates.

Winning teams of the team building activities will be given hoodies and other freebies.

The event is sponsored by 933 Co-Working Manila, Teetalk.PH, Green N Go, and Trampoline Park.
