A year after their unforgettable and iconic run on season one of Drag Race Philippines, Marina Summers and Eva Le Queen are having their first main event together for a Christmas show like no other. Joy to the WORLD: The Thunderpuke Christmas Special, held on December 23, 2023, at Apotheka Manila, promises an evening of comedy, beauty, and drag.
The show will be a Christmas-themed variety show hosted by comedian and Bekenemen podcaster Baus Rufo, with performances from Drag Den season two queen Deja, Myx Chanel, Zymba Ding, Empy Radora, and Queens of the Universe contestant Maxie.
Le Queen and Summers will also have special performances, including an appearance from their Snatch Game characters, Rufa Mae Quinto and former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Snatch Game is an improv challenge on Drag Race where contestants join a game show while portraying a character.
“Marina and I were intensively trained in improv and comedy during our preparations for Drag Race, and there is so much more that we have not shown the fans yet,” says Le Queen.

There will be more standup and improv in the second half of Joy to the WORLD. The Eme-Prov group will have a live interactive challenge with Le Queen and Summers.
Another highlight is the Queens Roast: The Roast of Lady Morgana. Le Queen, Summers, and special guests will take turns to “read” and “shade” the queens of Drag Race Philippines, the show’s judges, the host, and finally, Lady Morgana. Lady Morgana is also a contestant on the show’s first season and took home the Miss Congeniality crown.
The evening will end with an afterparty, where guests can stay and enjoy the night with their friends and queens.
Joy to the WORLD: The Thunderpuke Christmas Special will start at 7 PM, while the afterparty will begin at 11 PM. Guests can get intimate and chat with Le Queen and Summers at a meet and greet before the show.
Tickets are sold via the link on the queens’ socials (along with Drag Bingo PH and Drag Playhouse). VIP tickets have been sold out within 24 hours of release, but slots are still available for Gold, Bronze, and Silver.
