In a press conference for his upcoming film alongside Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte titled James and Pat and Dave, Donny Pangilinan was asked to finally clear the air about why he deleted his Instagram posts with his former love team partner, Kisses Delavin, following their love team split.
Answering the question with restraint, he said, “I just wanted to clean it up. That’s it, no other reason naman (really). Gusto ko lang talaga linisin ang feed ko. (I just really wanted to clean my feed.)”
It was back in June 2019 when Kisses issued a shocking statement on her Instagram about the end of the DonKiss love team.
“I apologize for the social media blackout. I believe that my supporters have the right to know that the ‘DonKiss’ partnership has long been over,” the actress revealed.
Donny, however, issued a conflicting statement in reaction to Kisses’ post and said he was not aware that DonKiss was no more.
“Regarding the statement, I’ll be honest it was a surprise. To my understanding, the partnership was still under review because of different expectations, with no final decision yet,” he said in an Instagram story. He then appealed to fans to respect Kisses’ decision and wished her well for her future endeavors.

In November, Kisses officially left Star Magic and signed with Triple A Management and APT Films. She was then welcomed into GMA Network in January 2020 and guested in Eat Bulaga! and The Boobay and Tekla Show.
