BTL Venture Capital will be hosting the webinar series “Businesses Beyond Quarantine: A Startup Week Series!” from December 7-11, 2020. This five-day event is
divided into two parts: featuring multiple businesses who are making an impact in their respective fields on Days 1-4, 5:00PM-7:00PM, and a Pitch Competition on Day 5, 4:00PM-7:00PM.
This initiative aims to empower the participants to rise above this pandemic and utilize the resources they have to make something great. On the first day, the group of companies and organizers of this webinar series will be featured: BTL Venture Capital, FA Hernando Consulting, No Ceiling Index Fund Investing, and Start-up Culture.
On the second day, one of the largest burger joints here in the Philippines, Zark’s Burgers, will be featured, as well as a coffee company called Anakula Coffee which
aims to establish Philippine culture beyond its borders and empower every facet of local coffee production.
The third day will feature a company that is literally out of this world called Orbital Exploration Technilogies, Inc. (OrbitX), the first and only contemporary commercial space venture of the Philippine Space Program, and Stratcon PH, a company that aims to help make the world a better place to live in by delivering renewable energy and sustainability projects across Southeast Asia.
The fourth day will feature a well-known beauty establishment, Lay Bare Waxing Salon. This company has branches all over the Philippines, has branched out to the United States, and has dominated the Beauty and Wellness industry in the Philippines.
Last but not the least, on the fifth day and the culmination of the week-long conference, the conference will have a pitch competition which is open to students, professionals, and entrepreneurs to pitch their Big Business Idea. The competition aims to enable startups to receive high-impact awareness for their product, idea, or innovation among investors, potential business partners, media outlets, and the general public. The goal of this competition is to create a platform that would help accelerate the success of startups.
