“There is bigger fishes to m*********** fry, especially in the Philippines right now,” he said.

“Like these m*********** nepo babies using up people’s money to buy and fund their lavish lifestyle and some of their questionable, ugly fashion choices,” he stressed. “They really need to invest on a stylist before they invest on these m************ fashion stuff, because I agree—I would be mad, too, if I was funding these babies’ life and they’re buying ugly things. l would be mad. Trust.”

Camille Co

Camille Co once again reiterated that she is not involved in the controversial flood control projects, after being falsely accused of having ties to contractors and being slammed on social media for mistaken identity.

“I have been in the industry for 15 years. FIFTEEN LONG YEARS to build my career and get to where I am now… I started from zero. Never clinged to anyone for name or clout despite various opportunities to do so,” she wrote in a statement.

“Nanakawan na nga ako ng tax katulad niyo. Pati identity ko, ninanakaw din (I’m already being robbed of my taxes just like you. Now, even my identity is being stolen too),” she added.

Kryz Uy

Vlogger and fashion influencer Kryz Uy also addressed the issue. In one of her Instagram posts, a social media user asked her stance regarding the corruption controversy.

She commented: “[I am] definitely angry and disappointed. I am an honest taxpayer and work hard to support my family. Seeing the ghost projects on the news and how the people behind it are accumulating luxury cars and private jets—nakakagalit talaga (it really angers me)… But my stand is clear—all for transparency and hopefully something will come out of this and hindi lang mawala (the issue won’t disappear) with another issue.”

Angelique Manto

Angelique Manto emphasized that accountability should not rest solely on the families involved in the controversy, but also on the main authorities who are complicit.

“While we call out those who have been benefiting greatly from corruption, let us not forget the very root that allowed them to experience such luxuries. We can snap their branches, but we need to uproot the deeply embedded systemic corruption. Let’s focus on who we should hold accountable — not just the family, but the main official actually complicit to pocketing our hard-earned money,” she wrote on Threads.

“Please don’t misconstrue my words as enabling the families — call them out; but as I’ve said while we’re calling them out, we also have to uproot the very core of how they are enjoying these luxuries, even clear out the ground where they have latched on,” she added.

Rei Germar

Rei Germar shared her thoughts on the issue after netizens tagged her, given her close friendship with content creator Jammy Cruz, whose family’s company has allegedly secured flood control projects with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In an Instagram story, Rei emphasized that she does not support or tolerate the issue at hand.

“I can’t talk about things I don’t have knowledge of, moreso speak for others. What I can say is that I do not stand for or tolerate such behavior. Accountability is important, and it should be driven towards where it truly belongs. I trust that the truth will always surface,” she wrote.

“I can truthfully say I earn all my money from all the work I’ve done and because of all the support I have received from you from all the years I’ve been on this platform,” she added.

Ry Velasco

Netizens also called on Ry Velasco to speak up about the controversy due to her close ties with Jammy.
