The Operations Research Society of the Philippines -Student Federation (ORSP-SF) upholds the use of Operations Research as a systems optimization tool for operations and projects that would contribute to nation building and improving the efficiency in our practices. With this, we aim to unite students from various courses and universities nationwide to the improved exchange and advancement of operations research and management knowledge.
The ORSP-SF, in partnership with De La Salle University Industrial Management Engineering Society (DLSU IMES), holds its 11th National Student Congress with the goal of instilling the relevance and importance of OR and how it changes the game in the real world. In behalf of the ORSP-SF and DLSU IMES central committee, we cordially invite you to join us in this year’s ORSP National Student Congress with the theme, “BREAKTHROUGH: A Nation in Progress.”
The event will be held on March 11, 2017, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University-Manila. This year’s congress theme shall highlight the role of Operations Research in Public Governance. Activities shall include the annual Operations Research Quiz Bee Competition, a Case Analysis Competition, and talks from our renowned speakers who are experts in the field of Operations Research, specifically the applications of it in Public Governance.
