Actress Kim Chiu and companions were riding inside her van when 2 gunmen fired at the vehicle in Quezon City. Her driver witnessed the incident and reports the gunmen were on a motorcycle. Thankfully, they were all unharmed by the incident.
Chiu was on the way to a taping of her television series, Love Thy Woman, when the assailants fired at her van this Wednesday morning. They fired at her van at least 6 times at the corner of Katipunan and CP Garcia avenues in Diliman around 6 a.m.

“Di namin napansin na may putukan sa likod, dito pala sa amin pinatama. Kami pala ang pinapaputukan,” Wilfredo Taperla, Chiu’s driver, told ABS-CBN News.
[We did not immediately notice that there were gunshots from behind, it turned out we were the ones being shot at.]
A bullet pierced the van in the location Chiu would normally be seated at. She had luckily taken another spot in the van during the attack.
Chiu and her assistant pushed through with her scheduled taping.
