“The band’s goal in releasing the song has always been to be of service to retrenched employees of ABS-CBN,” they added.

Ben&Ben released “Nakikinig Ka Ba Sa Akin?” last June in time for the Philippine Independence Day. The music video then premiered after the ABS-CBN Network was denied a fresh franchise from Congress in July.

“Isang alay sa ating mga kapamilya, sa bigat ng mga pangyayari ngayon,” they expressed at the beginning of the video that starred Agot Isidro, Bart Guingona, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Kelvin Miranda.
