Belle & Cat Nail and Wax Studio Makati

 

When in Manila, it is important to keep your nails clean and well groomed. Your nails can say so much about you – think about how people will see you when you have long, dirty, grubby nails. Ick!

 

My mom’s OC, so it’s not surprising that my siblings and I are very particular when it comes to hygiene. As kids, our nails were cut so short, and I’m glad that I’ve gotten used to it. I have my favourite nail salon somewhere in Libis, but I try to check out other nail salons in Manila every once in a while. And that’s when I encountered Belle & Cat Nail and Wax Studio Makati.

 

Last Sunday, I decided that we (da mahal and I) will have a pampering hand and foot spa for our date night. He just came home from his Bora vacation, and I wanted to have his nails free of sand. Teehee! So after I picked him up from the airport, we headed straight to Belle & Cat – a cute nail salon located in Esteban cor Dela Rosa, Makati. And yes, my lakay appreciates spa treatments a lot 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

Belle & Cat greeted us with warm pink hues and some jazz – literally and figuratively. One step in and you know you’ll be pampered. We started with a warm foot soak (to prep our feet by cleaning it) then everything after it was la la land. It was a relaxing Sunday, indeed!

 They used some pepper mint scrub on my hands to remove all the grime

 

 Then some more pepper mint, cream this time, to moisturize

 My first time to have a paraffin treatment! Oh, how could I not know it was this good? They practically dipped our feet in paraffin wax, waited for it to work its way through our skin, resulting in very soft and supple feet.

 Tadaa! This equals feet I can’t resist but touch. It’s like a baby’s derriere.

 

We had a great, relaxing Sundate at Belle & Cat. The staff was accommodating, and the treatments were so relaxing. Again, it was perfect for a Sunday lounge around date. When in Manila, visit Belle & Cat so you could experience what we did. They have an array of pampering services that you could choose from, such as body scrubs, nail art, and waxing. As a first-timer, I really had fun with the paraffin treatment so I also recommend you have that, too.
