“Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa lahat ng taong naniwala at nagtiwala sa akin, lalo na sa sarili kong minsang inakala na hindi ko kaya (I just want to thank everyone who believed and trusted in me, especially myself, who once thought I couldn’t do it),” she wrote.

“Ang hirap ng pagbabalik ko sa pag-aaral. Halos limang taon akong nahinto simula noong pandemya. I had to stop for almost five years because of the pandemic. I thought I had been left behind. I even enrolled almost two months late. There was so much I needed to catch up on, but I chose to fight. I proved to myself that I could do it—and that doubt really is the true enemy),” she shared, adding that it took her time to get to know her classmates and teachers until she eventually warmed up to them.

She also looked back on her life and the lessons she had learned along the way.

I’ve learned—and something I want others to carry with them—is that no matter how many people want to help you, if you don’t help yourself, nothing will happen),” she reflected.

Hangga’t may pagkakataong bumangon, babangon ako at pipiliing itama ang mali (I know I’m not perfect. I make mistakes too. But I won’t let my mistakes define who I am. As long as there’s a chance to rise, I will rise and choose to make things right).”

In another Instagram post, the 21-year-old comedian posted photos with her family and loved ones.

Para sa inyo ‘to (Behind every success I’ve had, you were always there guiding and supporting me. Thank you for everything. I love you all so much. This is for you),” she captioned her post.

Previously, the online personality shared a photo with her followers showing Vice Ganda looking at her report card. The “It’s Showtime” host has always supported her returning to school and finishing her studies.

“There’s a different kind of fulfillment when you get to show your grades to the person who sent you to school, the one who never stopped believing in you, even in moments you doubted yourself. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, and even prouder knowing that I made her proud. This is all for you,” she noted.

Congratulations, Awra!
