Looks like Davao City, the home of our current president, Rodrigo Duterte, will play host to the 2019 SEA Games. This confirmation is according to a report on Inquirer.net.
According to this report, Philippine Sports Commission Chair William “Butch” Ramirez confirmed that the president already gave the go-signal.
Additionally, it also mentioned that several businesses already promised to provide help for this to push through.
This is really amazing news! It will provide more opportunities for our fellowmen not only in Davao City but the whole Mindanao.
We bet sports facilities of Olympic standard will rise in this city.
