AutoMATHic 2022: In It 2 Win It: University of the Philippines Civil Engineering Society (UPCES) Gears Up With Their Biggest AutoMATHic Yet

AutoMATHic is an annual national intercollegiate mathematics quiz contest hosted by

the University of the Philippines Civil Engineering Society – UPCES. This event aims to provide a venue to engineering students to test their mathematical skills against their peers with the overall objective of improving the quality of mathematics education especially among engineering schools as UPCES recognizes that a solid mathematical background is vital to engineering success.

AutoMATHic was first held in August 2000 as part of the 7th anniversary of UPCES. Over the years, AutoMATHic has gathered numerous participating schools and UPCES has made AutoMATHic as its yearly major event. Due to the current situation, last 2021, UPCES held the first iteration of AutoMATHic’s online edition. This year, with AutoMATHic 2022: In It 2 Win It, UPCES promises to deliver with an even bigger follow-up. Stakes have been raised and prizes have been increased by partnering with various engineering organizations and companies. 

Any 1st to 5th year engineering student is allowed to participate and has a chance to win cash prizes. Participating schools can send a number of students that favors their preference. Last year’s winners can even register for free. AutoMATHic 2022: In It 2 Win It will be held on February 4-6, 2022.
