The Philippines is rising to be a global contender in the voiceover industry, and VoiceCON by Pocholo De Leon Gonzales is at the forefront of this innovation. Established in 2020, VoicesCON, or the Voices Creative Online Network, is a virtual event that showcases iconic voice artists worldwide to impart their expertise and knowledge to aspiring Filipino voice artists.

VoicesCON has been a free, go-to online event for voice artists all around the globe, drawing more than 500 attendees in 2021. The mission is to influence, inspire, encourage, and communicate meaningful insights to aspiring, fledgling, and maturing voice artists in the Philippines and all over Asia.
With the theme “Revoicelution: Revolutionizing Voice Artistry,” this year’s VoicesCON will focus on key concepts rolled into three main topics: Revolution, Resolution, and Solution.
Revolution: recent trends in technology have paved the way for new opportunities for voice artists. Localizations have also become more in demand, leading to the popularity of the local dubbing scene. Filipino voice artists are highly encouraged to keep up with these trends and demands to continue being relevant in the local voiceover industry.
Resolution: Voice acting is, first and foremost, an art – and treating it as one makes any voice artist stand out. VoicesCON 2022 aims to ignite the passion of all existing and aspiring voice artists in the Philippines. Through the expertise and insights of esteemed international speakers, Filipino voice artists can be inspired to continue enhancing their craft.
Solution: VoicesCON 2022 promotes new learnings and insights, and this attitude of continuous learning and networking is crucial to success. Combining revolutions in the local voice acting industry with the resolution to thrive and be a part of the next generation of voice artists is the ultimate solution.
VoicesCON 2022’s eminent speakers will be addressing two major issues faced by voice artists today, namely (1) how to succeed in the face of increased competition in the voice artistry industry and (2) staying relevant with that sense of authenticity despite developments in AI voiceover.
Happening in conjunction with the 17th Founding Anniversary of CreatiVoices Productions, VoicesCON 2022: Revoicelution will be broadcasted LIVE via Zoom and through the Private Facebook Group on October 25, 2022, from 1:00-5:00 PM (Philippine time).
