Notable and beloved artist, Qing Han (famously known as Qinni), has passed away due to cancer. She was 29 years old.
A Canada-based artist, Qinni grew to fame through art website DeviantArt where she shared her beautiful pieces for 12 years. Her signature style was anime-inspired with ethereal elements. She gained so many fans that she won the Deviousness Award in 2017 for her “helpfulness and mentoring within the DeviantArt community.”

Qinni was also a professional artist, working as a background painter for animation studio Titmouse.
She is also the person behind the famous meme of a person crying a puddle of tears.
Well, no matter what happens, at least my meme sketch will be immortalized forever on the internets lol

Qinni has been open about her health struggles, having undergone open-heart surgery four times. In December 2019, she revealed to her followers that she has also been diagnosed with terminal stage 4 fibrosis sarcoma cancer. The disease eventually took her life on February 10, 2020.
Since then, artists from around the world have made beautiful tributes to her with art pieces inspired by her signature style. These were done under the hashtag #GalaxiesForQinni. Take a look at some of them below:
A drawing for Qinni. It feels so incredibly unfair that someone with so much talent and so many amazing things ahead of her is suddenly no longer here. I wish I had the chance to get to know her better. Rest in peace, funny, sweet, talented and beautiful Qinni. pic.twitter.com/31ofqJAqHY
