When In Manila, you must have been glued on live blogs regarding the tech-giant Apple releasing models that are new addition to their iPhone line, iPhone 5s and 5c, at an event held at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino this morning, September 11 (10AM PST, September 10).

iPhone 5c
Pegged as Apple’s affordable line of iPhone, the model will still carry the 4-inch retina display – same as the iPhone 5 – and will come in 5 colors (white, pink, yellow, blue and green) of poly-carbonate back body and glass front panel with steel frames that also acts as the phone’s antenna. iPhone 5c will come in two capacity: 16GB and 32GB both on an A6 chip that promises longer battery support on a fast on-phone experience.

LTE or Long Term Evolution connectivity is faster in 5c, with 13 LTE bands present in the phone. You can experience fast download and upload capacity when browsing the internet on LTE in “more places around the world.” Of course, it depends on your provider and we have yet to do a review on LTE connectivity here in our country.
It will retail at $99 and $199 for the 16GB and 32GB capacity respectively, in a two-year contract. CNET said that without contract it will be priced at $549 for the 16GB and $649 for the 32GB model.

iPhone 5s
Get ready to save up for Apple’s iPhone 5s! Tech-writers dubbed this model as the “higher end counterpart” of iPhone 5c,it boast the following features: a remarkable technology of TouchID – a fingerprint identity sensor, an A7 chip with a 64-bit structure – the first smartphone to have this kind of technology, an improved iSight and ultrafast LTE.

The iPhone 5s is made of high-grade aluminum, with diamond-cut beveled edges, and comes n three colors: space gray, gold and white. And just like the iPhone 5c it will have the 4-inch retina display in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.
The tech-giant’s new high-end phone comes with an improved camera, according to the company’s website it’s the world’s most popular camera. The iPhone 5s is equipped with new light sensor, continuous burst mode and a true tone flash – an LED flash that will adjust to the color temperature.
As of press time, only with two-year contract pricing for this phone is available: $199 (16GB), $299 (32GB) and $399 (64GB). Both phones will be available on September 20, in selected countries, and on December 2013 in 100 countries.
