Anne Curtis is quelling all worries of fans who are clamoring for her to return to acting.
According to the actress-host, she is already in search of a “really good script” which will inspire her to make her much-awaited onscreen comeback.
“Don’t worry! I’m already in search [of] a really good script! Kaya May ilang pitching ang nagaganap (That’s why there have been a few pitches recently),” Anne said in a Tweet in reply to a fan who gushed about how much they missed watching her act.
“I also miss doing films and yes, series too!” Anne added. However, she pointed out that if she ever did a television soap again, she would only agree to one with limited episodes.

Anne’s last onscreen project was back in 2019. She starred in the films “Just a Stranger” and “The Mall, The Merrier.” Her last TV show, however, was “Mars Ravelo’s Dyesebel” which aired on ABS-CBN in 2014. She has also been a longtime host of the noontime variety show “It’s Showtime!”
Anne was recently spotted having a meeting with GMA executives which prompted rumors of her network switch. She quickly clarified that it was a pitch for a possible movie.
“They pitched a film for next year na hindi pa naman (which isn’t) sure yet. As always, I need to read the script first before making a decision. The last [Viva x GMA] film I did was ‘IN YOUR EYES’ with Ate Claudine & Richard. I was already a Kapamilya then. So Kalma Lang (stay calm)!” she tweeted.
