Annabelle Rama is known for being vocal with her opinions and it certainly applies to her kids, even Ruffa Gutierrez.
In the “Lagot o Sagot” segment of Gandang Gabi Vice, the Gutierrez matriarch was dared to answer personal questions, or else give up a piece of jewelry to an audience member. The host, Vice Ganda, asked her about Ruffa’s biggest wrongdoing to her.

Annabelle answered, “Si Ruffa, mabait naman talaga iyan. Siyempre mahal ko, kasi only daughter. Pero ‘yung mga ayaw ko, sinusuway niya.”
[“Ruffa is good. Of course I love her, she’s my only daughter. But she still does what I don’t want her to do.”
She added, “Unang una, sabi ko sa kanya maghanap siya ng boyfriend na bubuhay sa anak niya at sa kanya. Hindi siya kailangan magtrabaho kasi matalino naman siya, maganda. Hindi naman siya bobo. Ang ayaw ko lang, pagdating sa lalaki, talagang bobo talaga siya.”
[“First of all, I told her to find a boyfriend who can support her and her children. She doesn’t need to work because she’s smart and pretty. She’s not stupid. But when it comes to men, she’s not very smart.”]
Ruffa is currently in a relationship with French-Israeli Jordan Mouyal. Previously, she was married to Turkish Yilmaz Bektas, who is allegedly abusive to her.
