Filipino tennis sensation Alex Eala has reached another career milestone.

On February 23, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) updated its rankings, with Alex breaking into World No. 31—marking a 16-spot jump from her previous ranking of No. 47 just last week.
The surge comes after her stellar quarterfinal run at the Dubai Duty Free Championships, held on February 13.

The 20-year-old tennis star also competed in the Philippine Women’s Open, which ran from January 24 to 31.
In November 2025, she broke into the Top 50 for the first time, which is a significant breakthrough in her rising tennis career.
