Ryzza Mae Dizon’s family spoke out on social media after receiving death threats from an unknown sender.

On October 9, Team Ryzza posted screenshots of disturbing messages sent from an unknown sender via email. In one of the emails sent, the sender asked for P20,000 since the money would be needed for their child’s operation. However, it claimed that they knew Ryzza’s personal information.
“Balewalain mo ‘tong sinasabi ko magugulat ka na lang baka sa mga lakad at bahay mo puntahan kita para itumba (Just ignore what I’m saying, and you might be surprised when I show up at your usual hangouts or your house to kill you),” the email read.

In a separate email, the sender wrote: “Location at bahay mo may tagaturo ako ‘yung mismong gusto kang ipatumba. Nasa kanya lahat ng information mo. Kaya wala kang maitatago sa akin kaya hangga’t maaga pa lang padalhan mo na ako ng 30k kapalit (I have someone who can point out your location and your house, the very person who wants you taken out. They have all your information, so there’s nowhere you can hide from me. So, before it’s too late, send me ₱30,000 in exchange).”
Team Ryzza, which is managed by her mother, Rizza, expressed their fear following the threats sent their way, noting that they were not in conflict with anyone.
“Hindi ko inaasahan na makakatanggap si Ryzza Mae Dizon ng ganitong message at picture dahil wala naman kami kaaway at inaagribyado na tao (I didn’t expect Ryzza Mae Dizon to receive a message and photo like this because we don’t have any enemies, and we don’t wrong anyone),” she captioned her post.
She added: “Sana wag po ganito dahil nakakatakot po makatanggap ng ganitong message at lalo na madalas kami lumabas. Mag iingat po tayong lahat (I hope people stop doing things like this because receiving messages like these is frightening, especially since we often go out. Let’s all stay safe and be careful).”
Following the post, social media users urged the family to exercise caution when sharing content online and to report the threats to the proper authorities.
“Sa Team Ryzza, mag-lielow po muna kayo sa paglabas-labas at sa pamimigay niyo ng ayuda.. Huwag ninyong balewalain ang banta. Be alert po, doble ingat po. God Bless po sa inyo at sa buong pamilya (To Team Ryzza, please limit your outings and the distribution of aid for the meantime. Do not take the threats lightly. Please stay alert and be extra careful. God bless you and your entire family),” one social media user wrote.
“Make a police report na!” another netizen commented.
As of writing, Team Ryzza has yet to disclose whether the threats have been reported to authorities.
