Luna and Sol Beach Resort: The Ultimate Escape From the City

Many people who live in Metro Manila have long been heading to Zambales to escape the busy city, but a new sanctuary now exists in the heart of the coast, redefining what it means to truly get away. This is Luna and Sol Beach Resort.

The name “Luna & Sol” was born out of a fascination with the moon and the sun: their rhythms, their symbolism, and the way they shape our days. According to the founders, Shannon and Lior, the resort grew out of their shared vision to create a destination deeply connected to nature.

“For us, they represent balance: light and dark, rest and energy, reflection and action,” they share. “We believe everyone carries different strengths and qualities within them, and the balance between those qualities often creates something meaningful. Luna & Sol is the expression of that idea.”

This philosophy is felt throughout the property. In an era where some destinations focus solely on being Instagrammable, Luna and Sol Beach Resort pivots back to the fundamentals of hospitality while being aesthetic at the same time.

Their goal is simple but ambitious: providing five-star service at an affordable price point and prioritizing the human connection between the staff and the guests.

We’d actually like to give a special shoutout to Hardeep, who made our stay so much brighter. She always had a smile on her face, was so attentive, and was also incredibly funny to boot. She truly made our stay that much more special.

Shannon and Lior were also incredibly kind and generous. They were there during our entire stay and always chatted with us, checked in, and asked us for feedback. That in itself proved to us that Luna and Sol Beach Resort isn’t just another resort.

Luna and Sol Beach Resort is also a space designed for intentionality. Whether you are there to chase a quick adrenaline rush or simply find your breath again, Luna and Sol Beach Resort offers something for everyone.

For those who find peace through movement, the resort serves as a gateway to some of the best adventures Zambales has to offer. Literally just a step away from the resort, you can hop on an ATV for a rugged tour complete with professional drone shots to capture the memories. If you prefer the water, banana boats and jet skis are ready to whisk you across the waves.

However, the true beauty of Luna and Sol Beach Resort is that it demands nothing of you. It is the perfect place to gather a group of friends, sit by the shore, and just breathe. You can spend an entire afternoon doing absolutely nothing but watching the tide come in, and it feels like time well-spent. By the way, the sunset from the resort is absolutely breathtaking!

Of course, no coastal retreat is complete without good food, and the resort’s beach bar, Noga, serves just that. Currently serving a curated menu of Asian-inspired dishes, Noga offers the perfect backdrop for a sunset cocktail or a long, lazy lunch. With plans to expand their food offerings soon, it’s a spot that invites you to linger a little longer over a meal.
