Mindful helping is the theme of Sorok Uni Foundation Inc., a local non-profit organization that focuses on empowerment and building sustainable communities for Persons Affected by Leprosy, homeless urban and rural poor, underprivileged children and disadvantaged Indigenous People.

This NGO repairs the social functioning of beneficiaries and prepares them to become self-reliant. Its vision is to have A Philippines Without Forgotten Neighbors, simply, no Filipino will be left behind, socially and economically.

For those who are passionate about nation-building, this is the NGO for you.

Sorok Uni has communities in Metro Manila, Region IV-A, Region IX and MIMAROPA. They accept both professional and regular volunteers. You can also donate to them in kind or for any amount you’re comfortable with.

  • 10 PALs

 

Disadvantaged Indigenous People in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro

  • 92 Families
