“It’s Showtime” will soon be on TV5! The television network announced on Wednesday (July 6) that the ABS-CBN show will air “back-to-back” with their variety show, “Lunch Out Loud,” this month.

In the beginning, “It’s Showtime” was solely a talent show. Currently, they have three segments: “Tawag ng Tanghalan” (singing contest), “Showtime Sexy Babe” (pageant), and “Palarong Pangmadla” (parlor game).
The program is now in its 12th year. Its hosts–Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz–have been on the long-running show since it premiered in 2009. They are now joined by Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Ogie Alcasid, Karylle, Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, Jackie Gonzaga, and Ion Perez.
Other ABS-CBN titles streaming online are already being broadcast on TV5. These are “ASAP Natin ‘To,” “Idol Philippines,” and “FPJ: Da King.” Meanwhile, their entire “Primetime Bida” airs at the same time slot on TV as on Kapamilya Channel and Kapamilya Online Live.
