Not only is beauty queen Sandra Lemonon engaged to be married to Philippine Basketball Association player Sol Mercado, but she’s also expecting a child with him!
Just a couple of days after she announced their engagement with a photo of her flaunting a blue ring on her finger, Sandra revealed the news of her pregnancy by showcasing her huge baby bump on Instagram. It seems that the two were actually having a maternity shoot by the beach when Sol decided to also propose to her.

“Creating life together,” she wrote on her post. “We love you Papi.”
She also shared a slideshow of photos taken during the sex reveal of their baby, who they’ve found out is going to be a boy.
“I’ve always imagined myself having a little baby boy, for it to actually happen is a surreal feeling,” Sandra gushed. Penning a heartfelt message to her fiance, she said, “You are an amazing life partner/friend & now Papa, thank you for another priceless gift in helping me become a Mama. We love you.”
Sandra and Sol confirmed their relationship last September 29, 2021. The two then got engaged on March 11, 2022, when they had their son’s sex reveal party.

Sandra formerly represented Taguig City in the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 pageant. Prior to that, she joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2018 and Miss World Philippines in 2016.
Sol was previously engaged to actress Denise Laurel until they parted ways in October 2016.
