Now that classes for most students have officially ended, they have two months of free time to spend at home. After more than a year of being stuck at home, it won’t be a surprise if they’d get bored pretty easily.
If you’re thinking of a way to keep them busy for the next few months, it might be a great idea to let them learn a new skill and possibly earn some money for themselves!
Just last June 13, renowned resin art boutique Kamila’s 4AM Art held a flower and memorabilia preservation workshop with a few aspiring resin artists and kids. The workshop proved that resin art just might be the newest hobby that your kid is just about to discover.
The workshop, which will happen again this coming July, included a kit with all of the essentials: UV resin, UV lamp, molds and accessories, and safety equipment.
The kids who attended the workshop enjoyed it the whole time!
Because the instructions are super easy to follow, kids can definitely enjoy learning the art of flower preservation.
The artists of Kamila’s 4AM Art were also always quick to help anyone by correcting any mistakes and checking progress. In spite of the virtual setting, they were still able to guide everyone through the workshop, even those with zero knowledge about flower preservation.
Some kids even commented that they now wanted to start their own resin art business.
