‘Doctor Foster’ Is Getting a Pinoy Remake — Here’s Who Might Be Starring in It!

Yes, it’s official! There’s going to be a Filipino remake of “Doctor Foster,” the award-winning show that inspired the well-loved Korean Drama series “The World of the Married!”

ABS-CBN News announced that it has forged an agreement with BBC Studios to create a Philippine adaptation of “Doctor Foster,” which is a story that follows a doctor whose life crumbles after she discovers that her husband is having an affair.

The Pinoy remake is going to be the sixth adaptation to ever be made of the show, after those made in South Korea, France, Russia, Turkey, and India.

It will reportedly begin production later this year. As of now, the cast has yet to be revealed but there are rumors that it’s going to star Judy Ann Santos and Charlie Dizon! Fans of Piolo Pascual have also been clamoring for him to take on the lead role. Meanwhile, Julia Barretto has admitted to being a fan of the Korean Drama and expressed interest in playing a character.
