After over a month of speculation, Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna have finally come forward to confirm that they are indeed in a romantic relationship.

The two confirmed this in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph on Friday, February 26, at Derek’s house in Ayala Alabang.
“It’s not a normal relationship. Hindi siya ‘yung may parang ligawan (It’s not like the kind where there was courtship),” Derek told the reporter. “It’s just nagkakilala kami (we met), from the dinner, every day, ‘O, workout’ (‘oh, let’s work out’).”
The two also revealed that they had been dating for a month.
“May spark talaga. Sobrang laking spark (There really was a spark. A really big spark),” Derek added. “We just really are enjoying each other’s company. Sobra (A whole lot).”
Rumors that a romance was brewing between the two began when they were seen on Ruffa Gutierrez’s Instagram stories being playfully intimate at a dinner party among friends. After that, the couple has been going on road trips together with Ellen’s son, Elias. They also recently went golfing together.
It was their close friend, entrepreneur Gerry Santos, who seemingly confirmed the rumors first on his own Instagram posts when he described Derek to be “in love” with Ellen and called them a “perfect match.”
