It’s been more than a decade since One Direction was formed on The X Factor. Last July, the band celebrated its 10th anniversary. Even if we didn’t get that reunion most of us wanted, the boys posted on their respective social media accounts to thank their fans and everyone who supported them for the past 10 years. Â It made our Directioner hearts warm and happy for all the memories that we have experienced with them.

So where are the boys now? All of them have released their respective solo albums since their last performance on The X Factor back in 2015. They all have their own thing going on, both career-wise and in their personal life.
Harry

Harry currently has two albums out, which is his self-titled album (2017) and Fine Line (2019). In 2017 and 2018, H embarked on a world tour for his first album. Aside from music, Harry has also expanded his career by trying out acting, when he landed a role in the movie Dunkirk. He has also modeled for Gucci and served as an executive producer on the sitcom, Happy Together. He was even one of the co-hosts of the Met Gala back in 2019!
Niall

Since the band broke up, Niall has released two albums. He released Flicker in 2017 and toured the album shortly after. Earlier this year, the singer released his second album, Heartbreak Weather. With this, Niall is regularly interacting with his fans on social media. He often does Livestream performances on his Instagram, performing acoustic versions of his songs. Niall has also shown his love for golf and football by teaming up with different sports charities.
Liam

Following his EP, First Time, Liam released his first full-length album, LP1, in 2019. The singer has a baby with his ex-girlfriend, Cheryl Cole. Liam expanded his career to modeling as well when he launched a campaign with HUGO earlier this year. Right now, Liam is very active on social media, even making funny videos on TikTok. It’s also been reported that Payno just got engaged to model Maya Henry!
Louis

Louis released his first album, Walls, in January 2020. The singer was supposed to tour the album this 2020 but had it postponed because of the pandemic. Aside from working on his music career, Louis went back to his roots as he became a judge on the 15th season of The X Factor. The singer also has a child, Freddie Tomlinson, with model Briana Jungwirth.
Zayn

Of course, we have to include Zayn on this list. After leaving One Direction in 2015, the singer worked on his solo career and released his first album, Mind of Mine. His second album, Icarus Falls, was released in late 2018. Zayn also collaborated with singer Zhavia Ward for a cover of the Aladdin theme song, A Whole New World. In April 2020, it was confirmed that the singer is expecting a baby with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
