BS Clothing Technology students from the University of the Philippines Diliman celebrate the program’s 43rd year through “HULMA: The UP BSCT Class of 2020 Graduation Fashion Show.” The event, organized by the UP Association of Clothing Technology Students (UP ACTS), is slated on January 19, 2020 at the Metrotent Convention Center, Pasig City.
HULMA, translated in English as “mold”, represents the narratives of ten individuals through design and their growth and development in the program. It exhibits their distinct points-of-view as future clothing technologists and as UP students, and how they have molded into the designers they are today.
The program has honed these students’ abilities in the field of fashion through its four pillars: design, research, production and management. These have prepared them with the skills needed in being in the textile and garment industries.
Ten talents will present seven (7) looks that will showcase the show’s theme, each with a unique interpretation and an own story to share. HULMA is their story.
