Cameron Diaz is now a mom!
On Instagram, the 47-year-old Hollywood actress announced the happy news of her first daughter’s arrival together with her husband, Good Charlotte frontman Benji Madden.

The announcement came in the form of a written note instead of a photo of the newborn baby as what most would expect.
In the post, Cameron wrote: “Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy. So we won’t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute!! Some would even say RAD.”
At the end of the note, she gave all her fans well wishes for the new year. “From our family to all of yours, we’re sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade,” she said.
It is unclear whether Cameron gave birth to her daughter herself or had a surrogate. One thing’s for sure, she’s definitely going to be a great mom!
