Earlier this year, news broke out that Piolo Pascual and Claudine Barretto were reuniting for a romantic comedy to be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
But with 2019 almost coming to a close, is the reunion movie still pushing through?

“Let’s just wait and see. We only have prayers to everyone,” Piolo told PEP.

He also refused to comment about the current controversy involving Claudine and her family and whether it affected the supposed project. “I’m not in the position to say anything about that.
It’s a very sensitive issue,” he said.
He also couldn’t give away details about the film especially since he wasn’t sure if the film will push through.
“It’s rather confidential for now but yeah, it’s a very interesting story. Next year? We don’t know yet, mahirap magsalita tapos di mangyayari (it’s hard to talk about it and then later find out it doesn’t push through). I’m just really waiting, depende sa (it depends on) Star Cinema,” he shared.

The film would have been their comeback film since Milan aired in 2004 and directed by Olivia Lamasan. In an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda back in April, Claudine shared that filming was scheduled to start by June or July in Florence. However, it didn’t push through.
