Filipinos love themselves a good deal and if it’s unlimited drinks you’re looking for, we know where to go. There is one restaurant in the Philippines that has been a frontrunner in providing unlimited drinks for years now and they’re back once again with their famous bottomless margaritas!
It’s back and it’s better than ever!
Chili’s is an American restaurant that was first established in Dallas, Texas before expanding worldwide and coming to the Philippines. Now on its 17th year in the country, it’s still known as a casual dining joint perfect for family and friends (even dates!), and just about anyone looking for a good time.
Chili’s is known for their wide variety of Southwestern food and drinks that come in large portions that are perfect for sharing. From mouth-watering burgers to juicy steaks to succulent ribs to famous fajitas, Chili’s continues to dazzle and wow guests with their bold flavors. These home-style dishes are best paired with their drinks: ice-cold beers and cocktails like their top-shelf Margaritas, which are specially made by their skilled team of bartenders!
From April 22 to May 31, 2019, you can enjoy unlimited top-shelf and flavored margaritas from Chili’s at a fixed price of P300 in all of their branches. It’s like happy hour anytime, anywhere!

Top-shelf Margarita
The basic margarita. This classic drink comes with the essentials – lime juice, orange liqueur and tequila – which is then blended with ice and served in a tall, salt-rimmed mug. It has a refreshing, crisp taste and strong notes of lime. It’s my go-to drink whenever I visit a Chili’s branch near me.
Mango Margarita
More on the sweet side, the Mango Margarita is fruity and refreshing. Think of summer days on the beach; that’s what drinking this margarita’s like. If you don’t like the strong taste of tequila in your drink, this one’s for you. Be careful, though, because the alcohol might hit you without you knowing it!
Strawberry Margarita
The Strawberry Margarita is as fruity as ever, but more sour than sweet compared to the Mango Margarita. Its tart flavors make the taste of the tequila more pronounced, which you can counteract with the salt grains rimming the cup. It’s like the essence of spring turned into a drink: fragrant and full of flavor.
Strawberry and Mango Margarita
This drink is the perfect balance of sweet and sour: the fusion of mango and strawberry in a margarita. It takes the mellow flavors of the mango and the tartness of strawberries, melding it together with the alcohol to give a refreshing and fruity flavor that doesn’t overpower one another.
These delightful margaritas are best paired Chili’s famous Sizzling Fajitas, which now come in new and exciting combinations! Choose from Achiote Chicken, Fried Shrimp, Crispy Crisper Chicken, and Delectable Cap Steak. Each one has its own set of sauces and toppings, so you can customize your wrap any way you want to!
The photographer JJ and I got to try the Achiote Chicken and Crispy Pepper Fajitas during our visit. It features grilled pieces of chicken with caramelized onions underneath flanked with a mix of red and green bell peppers on the side and topped with crispy onion rings — all served on a sizzling pan.
Add in some lime for a touch of acidity, and then add it onto your tortilla. Pair it with your choice of sweet mango salsa, creamy jalapeno aioli, or soft guacamole to complement its spicy flavors. You can even add in some pico de gallo or white queso on top before wrapping it all together.
Personally, my favorite combination features tons of onions—both caramelized and fried— with some mango salsa, pico de gallo and cheese. The result is a sweet and spicy mix that is offset with refreshing tomatoes and salty cheese. My favorite fajita by far! I’ll be sure to drop by again!
