Rick and Morty Just Announced Their Season 4 Release Date

The finale to Rick and Morty‘s 3rd season aired nearly two years ago on October 2017. Since then it’s been a bumpy road for fans of the satirical show — there was even a time that they doubted the show would be renewed. Then in May 2018, Adult Swim finally confirmed that not only would the show be getting a 4th season, but it was also renewed for 70 more episodes.

At the time of that announcement, production hadn’t even begun on this new season and it has basically been radio silence on updates since then. Until now.

Adult Swim recently posted an announcement video revealing season 4’s release date. Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait much longer because the new season will finally be out in November 2019. That’s right, November of this year, 2019.

Co-creator Justin Roiland previously had this to say on the forthcoming episodes:

We want the episodes to stay good, but we do also want to try to turn them around a little quicker now that we have this big order, I think it gives us the ability to be faster. We’re not going to do these long breaks, these chasms in between seasons anymore.

We’re going to schedule vacation time and just keep the machine going. It’s going to be really cool.
