Here’s How You can Experience the Best of Hong Kong and Macau with Less than PHP 6,000

Planning to go to Hong Kong? You may be wondering what to do there and how you can score the cheapest tickets to attractions. Honestly, it can be really expensive especially if you are not prepared. As for me, I did a little research. Before heading to Hong Kong, I found out that there are discounted tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park when you buy from your hotels or from locals. We would be staying in two different hotels, though, so I was a little worried about purchasing it there. Luckily, after a little more research, I found Klook.

The very first thing that led me to Klook was the Hong Kong Attraction Pass or the iVenture Card. This card is your ultimate pass for Hong Kong attractions and to Macau, too! You can choose between a 3-day or 5-day pass.

We booked the iVenture Card through the Klook app and we printed the voucher with the QR Code. We used it to claim the actual iVenture Card at Hong Kong Airport. You can also save the QR Code on your phone and present that. Aside from the airport, you can also pick up your card at Tsimshatsui, Central, The Peak, and Macau.

Your iVenture card will automatically be activated upon your first entry to an attraction. You will have a list and map of the attractions in a guide they will provide along with the card.

There are 13 Hong Kong and Macau attractions included in iVenture. This includes Peak Tram (round trip), Ngongping 360 (round trip), Noah’s Ark, Broadway Macau, Sky100 Observation Deck, Trick Eye Museum, Rickshaw Sightseeing Bus, Watertours Pre-dinner Sunset Cruise, Macau Tour, Pier 16 Macau 3D World Single Entry, Ocean Park (one day pass and transfer), Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre (observation deck), and Viva La Broadway Show in Macau.

Aside from those, you can get a 4G LTE Data Sim Card, 25% Airport Express Discount (roundtrip), 15% Cotai Waterjet Discount, 10% Discount at Bubba Gump, Discount for Disneyland Hong Kong Single Full Day entry and many more.

Here are some highlights of our trip and some places your can check out when you have the iVenture Card!

Ngongping 360

When in Hong Kong, you must ride a cable car. Though there are some in Ocean Park and Peak Tram, the Cable Car ride from Tung Chung Town Centre to Lantau Island I’d say is the most breath taking.

Though I have a little fear of heights, I still enjoyed the 5.7 km Cable Car ride where you can see a beautiful panoramic view of Hong Kong.

10

When you get to Lantau, you can walk around the island to see the Big Buddha, Grand Hall of 10,000 Buddhas, or the fishing village nearby. We were also told that you can opt to go hiking to Lantau. You will get off at one of the Cable Car stops to walk towards Ngong Ping Village.

This experience is perfect for those who want an adventure that will refresh your mind, body, and soul.

Rickshaw Sightseeing Open Top Bus

If you want to go around Hong Kong in style, you can take the Rickshaw Sightseeing Open Top Bus which goes around Hong Kong. If you have an iVenture card, you can have unlimited rides for a day. The bus goes around the City from 10:00 am – 7:30 pm and is a great alternative if you don’t want to take the MTR.

This is perfect if you want to go shopping in the city, if you are in the search for those Michelin Star restaurants, or just looking for Instagram-worthy spots.

You have to present your iVenture card to the booth at the RSB Kiosk next to Central Ferry Pier 6 where you will be given a ticket that will serve as your whole day pass. Make sure you get the leaflet where the schedule of the Rickshaw bus is printed so you can plan your trip ahead!

Watertours Pre-Dinner Sunset Cruise

This is a very special inclusion in your iVenture Card so make sure you catch it. You will sail during sunset and it’ll give you a beautiful view of Hong Kong.

19

You will get unlimited free drinks on board like whisky, gin, beer, softdrinks, white and red wine and cocktails.

Ocean Park Hong Kong

Passes to Ocean Park can be a little pricey so it’s a really good thing that this is included in the iVenture Card. It’s a one-day pass so make sure you make the most of it.

This is actually the highlight of my trip because it’s always been a dream of mine to see pandas. I was seriously considering being a Panda caretaker though they might be bigger than me!

Don’t forget to see the penguins and arctic fox!  You can also catch some sea lion shows so don’t forget to check the schedules!

Though most people think Ocean Park is just a place to see animals, you can also catch some rides there. There are roller coasters and cable cars to go around the huge property.

75

A day may not be enough to go around but make sure you check your Ocean Park Map to tick off all the attractions!

These are just some of the attractions you can experience with the iVenture Card. For less than Php6,000 you can get access to 13 attractions and exclusive discounts to restaurants, transpo, and Disneyland. Another great thing about the iVenture Card that is purchased through Klook is that you they have their own booth in the attractions so you can skip the queue. All that in just one powerful card for Hong Kong and Macau!
