One of basketball’s greats has just made yet another record!
After facing the Minnesota Timberwolves in the LA Lakers’ regular season-opener at the Staples Center Wednesday, Kobe Bryant has just set an NBA record with most seasons played with one franchise, with the game marking his 20th season with the Lakers, according to ESPN!
According to ESPN, Kobe’s record has surpassed John Stockton’s of the Utah Jazz, who played from the 1984-85 season until he retired in 2003. The sports website also cites only four other players in the NBA who have played 20 seasons: Kevin Garnett, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Robert Parish, and Kevin Willis.
