The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) yesterday granted San Beda College-Manila university status. San Beda is located in Manila’s university belt, established in 1901 by Benedictine monks and has two other campuses in Rizal and Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Now called ‘SAN BEDA UNIVERSITY’, netizens are taking their time to familiarize themselves with its new name.
