In celebration of its 65th year, UP PMS brings you LIWAYWAY: MEDCON 2021 A Glimpse of a Brighter Future in Medicine, a two-day medical convention catered for both pre-med students and medical students alike this April 17, 2021 (Saturday) from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and April 24, 2021 (Saturday) from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM. It is open to everyone who is interested to hear and learn from the experiences of different medical professionals. 

 

1. You get to witness 12 speakers from various medical fields speaking about their journey in the medical field. 

 

The first leg of the event will feature topics that will allow you to get a glimpse of life as an aspiring medical professional, and the journey you will undertake to reach your goal! The second leg of the event will focus on post-medical school life and different specializations such as anesthesiology, emergency medicine, pediatrics and surgery. 

 

2. This is an avenue to bond with other people with the same passion for medicine.

 

You will be in the company of fellow pre-med students, medical students, or even high school students with the prospect of venturing into medicine. You can even invite your friends to enjoy this event all together!

 

3. Don’t miss out on the special words that will be delivered by Vice President Leni Robredo.

 

Aside from hearing from valuable speakers, stay tuned for a special feature as the event will be opened by Vice President Leni Robredo.
