245 Filipinos Abroad Test Positive for COVID-19

The Department of Foreign Affairs announced as of March 27 a total of 245 confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases among Filipinos abroad.

From the total tally of 245 cases, 133 of the COVID-19 patients are currently undergoing treatment while 108 have either recovered or been discharged. 4 patients have died from the virus.

The 245 cases span over 28 countries and regions. There are 126 cases of Filipinos infected in the Asia Pacific, 50 in Europe, 47 in the Middle East and Africa, and 22 in the Americas.

Meanwhile, the Philippines has recorded a total of 803 cases in the country.
