For Singapore Food Festival 2018, a partnership between Time Out, Chef Damian D’Silva of Folklore, and various guest chefs will take guests on a food journey highlighting age-old recipes of fast-vanishing Singaporean dishes as well as local-inspired cocktail pairings.

Theatre and dining? Catch Makan Cosmopolitan in this setting, a play set in a hawker centre. It’s a story of characters that engage in discourse about food culture and its place in Singapore, as they queue up for their favorite nasi lemak, a delicious coconut milk rice. Experience the food that brings the play’s characters apart and together, with a specially-curated menu by Chef Roy from bistro place Escobar.

12. Classic food film screenings over delicious local food
