Razer Blade Released by Christmas with an SSD Upgrade

Razer Blade Main

When In Manila, you are bound to have a very Merry Christmas if Santa gives you one of Razer’s badass laptops under your Christmas tree. You might remember last August, Razer announced the Razer Blade will be available on Q4 of 2011, and now Razer CEO, Min-Liang Tan confirmed that the Blade will be available a few days before Christmas with pre-orders starting in the coming days. Along with the announcement Min-Liang also confirmed that the Blade will now ship with a 256GB SSD onboard instead of the previously 320GB HDD… According to Min-Liang, the upgrade was made possible because they were able to convince manufacturers to lower the cost of other parts thanks to the overwhelming response from the public and the media. The Blade will still be shipping at $2,799.99, which is the same price as the 17” Mac Book Pro.
