Another brilliant mind has joined the Heavens.
Pokemon’s creative design director Eric Medalle died Sunday during a windstorm in Seattle, confirmed by Mashable and other publications such as NintendoEverything.com. According to the reports, the designer was taking his daughter out for a drive, when a strong wind caused a massive tree to crash down the family’s SUV.
He was pronounced dead at the scene while her daughter only suffered minor injuries.

Eric worked for the company since 2003 and the man behind the following spectacular projects:

In addition, a GoFundMe.com was set up for his bereaved family. According to the Youcaring.com, the account was set up to help secure his children are able to go to college.
