In The Iron Throne, players take control of one of the noble houses of Westeros, with each notable member becoming an ally they must use to their strength and protect throughout the game. Allies may be sent to bargain alliances, to wage wars, and even be kidnapped and used as bargaining chips in negotiations and conflicts. Players are vying for power over the realm by protecting their own and stealing the others’ power tokens. With mechanics and systems borrowed from the modern classic Cosmic Encounters, this is a game for those who want a more accessible take on the power struggle in Westeros!
